2362 Camp Street

This Thomas Sully mansion on 78×140 corner lot in the heart of the Garden District was a really fun listing. Recent renovations throughout the home make it an impeccable piece of historic architecture easy to live in and entertain. Hand-crafted millwork/plasterwork throughout, oversized rooms with soaring coved ceilings, intricate mantles, chef’s kitchen.

We staged Camp Street with the help of the homeowner and designer Grace Kaynor. This home is over 7,000 square feet so this was not an easy feat, but wanted to keep it simple and so buyers could imagine their things in the home. With the homeowner we picked out rugs from his store Talebloo Oriental and Area Rugs, we chose soft neutral hues to blend in and not distract from the beautiful design elements.

Grace Kaynor, designer and owner of Magazine Street store SOTRE  had a variety of old and new pieces that really helped show off the home. It was so much fun going to her warehouse and store to find pieces to fill this house!

We are so excited to see what the new homeowner will do with 2362 Camp Street and really enjoyed this listing!

xoxo,

Sarah
